Rimini will travel to Gubbio next Sunday (28 April) for the last day of the championship, with a reshuffled lineup. In fact, the suspended Morra, Lamesta, Langella and Lepri are out, as well as the injured Rosini, Iacoponi, Malagrida and Leoncini. For the last two there is full optimism for their recovery in view of the playoff scheduled for Saturday 4 May, but it is more difficult to see Iacoponi again.

But against Gubbio, coach Troise might not risk being warned, even if they are essentially two pairs of “alternative” players: Pietrangeli and the first reserve defender, Gorelli, the two left-wing full-backs Quacquarelli and Semeraro.

It is therefore easy to think of Rimini lined up like this: Colombi in goal, Tofanari, Gorelli, Gigli and Quacquarelli or Oddi in defence, Megelaitis, Sala, Delcarro and Capanni in midfield, Ubaldi and Cernigoi in attack. On the bench the goalkeepers Colombo and De Lucci, Oddi, Pietrangeli, Semeraro, Garetto, Marchesi, Satalino.

The red and whites are sure of tenth place and the playoffs, but will still try to improve their position in the standings. However, it seems an impossible task to conquer seventh place, the placement that would guarantee Neri’s dispute in the first playoff match.
