Emotions and oath: spring graduation for nineteen new nurses

Great emotions in recent days at the Piacenza headquarters of the Nursing Study Course of the University of Parma, where the spring graduations for 19 new nurses took place.

The modality was finally in person, without any limitations linked to the Covid19 pandemic and this allowed all new doctors to be able to share an important step in the training path with their loved ones.

STUDIES AND ERASMUS

The session was characterized by 110 cum laude and several high marks above 100. The candidates presented qualitative, quantitative and mixed method studies (with more than one data collection or research method) on topics of close relevance to nursing and also very useful for the Company. An interesting project was also presented regarding the experience of a student who spent a period on Erasmus in Tanzania.

THE EVALUATION COMMISSION

To give ever greater value to the nursing discipline, which characterizes the training course, the evaluation commission is mainly composed of nursing teachers: in addition to the teaching director, Cinzia Merlini, the teaching tutors Maurizio Beretta, Giovanna Casella, Pierangela Pompini Pierangela, Daniela Opizzi were present , Sara Posla, Nunzia Montesanto, Federico Cortese and Chiara Canini.

THE PROCLAMATION AND THE OATH

There was no lack of joy and emotions, especially during the proclamation, which is always a very touching moment full of emotion. At the end of each session, the oath of Florence Nightingale, pioneer of the nursing profession, was read, wishing the new graduates a fruitful professional life, full of ever-growing skills and ambitious goals, but always at the service of vulnerable people. and needy.
