After the celebration of the anniversary of the Liberation at the Piersanti Mattarella park in Palermo, the procession started in a light rain, led by the banner «Partisans of the constitution, free from fascism, mafia and corruption». Before starting to march, the demonstrators chanted ‘Bella ciaò. The well-attended procession with many flags of the ANPI, Peace and the trade unions were also joined by groups carrying Palestinian flags and chanting freedom for Alfredo Cospito and Ilaria Salis. The demonstrators marched along Via Della Libertà to the Teatro Massimo.
