On May 1, 2024, as part of the Volunteer Festival “Rimini onLife” which will take place in Rimini at Parco XXV Aprile, theAssociation for Organ Donation and Biological Donation in Romagna Odvwith the patronage of Aido Provinciale Rimini, organized the first “Solidarity Walk for the Organic Gift”.
This is the first event of Adob Romagna Odv this year which in addition to supporting the concepts of solidarity and citizenship closely linked to the free, voluntary, anonymous and informed donation of Blood, Organs, Tissues, Cells, Breast Milk, Cord Blood, Hair and more, wants to spread physical activity as a fundamental tool for staying healthy, at any age and even after receiving a transplant.
“With the slogan «Give life, give hope. Walk with your heart in nature» – says Riccardo Arpaia, president of Adob Romagna Odv – We want to celebrate human generosity and promote a message of hope for those waiting for a gift that can change their lives”.
The walk will start on May 1, 2024 at 9 am from the central stage of the Marecchia Dream Fest and will arrive at the XXV Aprile Park at the Tiberio Bridge. It will be a time to reflect on the importance of giving life and hope to others and to share stories of resilience and courage. It will also be an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature and to strengthen the bond between people and the environment around us.

To participate you must wear comfortable and resistant clothing and shoes. In case of bad weather the event will be postponed to Sunday 5 May.
