Armed with a gun, he breaks into a minimarket between Borgo Podgora and Prato Cesarino in an attempt to carry out a robbery but fails. There were moments of fear experienced among the clerks and customers currently present in the grocery store on the border between the territories of Cisterna and Latina.
As reported in today’s edition of Latina Oggi, the criminal wore a hood to cover his face and was armed with a gun with which he threatened those present. A robbery, however, which ended badly with the man who fled without being able to take a euro with him. Immediate reports were made to the police who within minutes reached the grocery store but there was no longer any trace of the bandit.
It is still not clear whether there was the hand of an accomplice, ready to wait for him to escape by car. The Flying Squad agents are investigating, having already heard some testimonies and are analyzing the video camera images to find useful elements in the case.
