L’AQUILA – “From reports from workers it emerges that the RSA Villa Dorotea has had no medical personnel in the facility for weeks now. The nursing staff is lacking, except for the occasional presence of nurses from associations in Campania who are paid by the token. Employees’ salaries continue to be paid months late (the latest dates back to January) and the situation is truly embarrassing.”
This was stated by the provincial secretary Uil Fpl Antonio Ginnetti And Maurizio Testone of the secretariat of Uil Fpl.
“We have been sounding the alarm for months now about these continuous emergencies, however neither the local health authority, nor the Region, much less the Municipality of Scoppito, are able to give concrete answers to the problems identified for the well-being of workers and patients – continue Ginnetti and Testone – We are dealing with promises never kept and deadlines never respected. We can no longer continue with this situation.” “We therefore ask the institutions for timely and decisive intervention, to protect patients and workers”, they conclude.
