Last weekend Pordenone was the spectacular setting of Italian Kung Fu Championships, Italian Cup Modern Taolu Fiwuk he was born in Libertas national wushu trophy. The event, masterfully organized by master Liu Yuwei’s Weisong School, saw the participation of four hundred athletes ready to challenge each other in a high-level competition.
Impressive haul of medals for Weisong School
The sports hall in via Interna hosted talented athletes such as Jasmine Zhu, Alessia Tartufoli, Marta Zillet and Greta Mellina Bares, who dominated in their respective categories. The men were no exception, with Pierpaolo Rossi and Mike Battistetti leaving their mark with memorable performances.
The fiercest competition was undoubtedly that of Modern Taolu Italian Cup, where Weisong School won a total of 27 medals: 12 gold, 11 silver and 4 bronze. A result that allowed the team to retain the cup in Pordenone, also winning the Wushu Libertas Trophy city of Pordenone for the third time in a row.
