Project Icarus and road dangers, it was discussed at Baldassarre

Understand, prevent, be aware and avoid… the worst. When it comes to traffic education it is better to be clear and make children explicitly understand what they are facing in the event of an infringement and little respect for the rules: the crime news pages are full of them, unfortunately, with increasingly young victims. With this in mind, the Icaro Project was presented at the Baldassarre school in recent days by the State Police, an important road education campaign aimed at third year students in collaboration with the Department of Psychology of the Sapienza University of Rome, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Education, University and Research, Moige (Italian Parents’ Movement) and the ANIA Foundation for road safety.

The road safety campaign was linked to scientific research which demonstrated how such activities are capable of increasing awareness of road dangers. Specifically, a single meeting lasting 3 hours was held for three third L and third P classes of the Baldassarre school. An important opportunity to reflect and become responsible citizens, as drivers or pedestrians, or in any case as users of the road.
