They’re about to start Verona Porta Nuova the preparatory activities for the works for the entrance of the High Speed/High Capacity railway line Brescia-Verona.
Work on high-speed rail in Verona will begin in October 2024
The TAV is already 70% ready on the stretch between Lombardy and Veneto. And now we run towards Verona City, where work will begin next autumn on the 3 km area close to the Verona capital. Cost 441 million euros.
The securing of the entire stretch, intended as the reclamation of the areas in which war ordnance has already been found in the past and then the mowing and cleaning of the land, will begin in May 2024. In October the actual construction will begin. The work is expected to be completed by 2028.

Among the priorities, as explained by the Italian Railway Network, there is interference resolution with public services, as regards Verona Porta Nuova, and then the widening of the external sidewalks and the widening of the internal underpasses of the city railway station.
