Holy Week in Molfetta in Giotti’s airbrushed eggs

There sweetness she turned into light to Molfetta with the sacred art exhibition of the pastry chef Nicola Giotti which was inaugurated last night. Protagonists of the exhibition, set up in the setting of Passari Towerit’s airbrushed eggs, entirely made of chocolate, which depict the statues of Holy Week in Molfetta. A absolute novelty on the national scene, aimed at giving maximum value to food and to industriousness of the craftsmen.

«Through the mastery of artisan work, the greatest gift of the Lord’s nature, which is food, is elevated to the dignity of artwork – explains Giotti – thesetting helps make the exhibition a true path towards the light».

Indeed, the latter represents the thread of the initiative, which is expected to remain in the city until next year May 24th: the characteristic shine of eggs it is also the symbol of hope which gives its name to the exhibition, “Via lucis“.

The project was promoted by Musical Foundation “Vincenzo Maria Valente” of Molfetta with Confartigianato Bari-Bat-Brindisi and with the patronage of the Municipality of Molfetta.

“Via lucis”, with free admission, can be visited every day, from Monday to Sunday, from 6pm to 9pm. On Sundays it is also available from 10:00 to 15:00.
