Condemned to a professor over fifty years of age is under house arrest for harassment. In 2023 he had started to show excessive attention to one minor student of the Ravenna high school where she taught. Appreciations, gifts and some contact that made the young woman uncomfortable and that led to suspension from work and subsequently to a precautionary custody order under house arrest with the hypothesis of aggravated sexual violence issued by the investigating judge Andrea Galanti at the request of the prosecutor Stefano Stargiotti, as declared by Il Resto del Carlino.
The story began after complaint from the mother of the young woman who, having noticed the girl’s rejection of school and her strong feeling of unease, had managed to confront her daughter and understand her motivations.
The school, unaware of the facts, was informed of the incident with the announcement of the restrictive measure against the young girl and immediately collaborated with the police. The man claims that it was all a misunderstanding and the defense has requested a mitigation of the sentence. Now the final verdict is awaited.
