Milan investigation, sensational indiscretion by Repubblica: RedBird would not be the majority shareholder of the Rossoneri club
Important indiscretion relaunched by Republic on the issue related to the ownership of Milan: the club would not be owned by the American RedBird fund Gerry Cardinale but from a private fund based in the Netherlands and there would be a document that would attest to this.
The public document is the ADV form, a document that contains the main information on investment strategies and customers. From the form it emerges that “the funds managed by Cardinale have a single non-US contact person, for which RB FC Holdings CV was set up ad hoc: a private fund based in the Netherlands”. The fund in question is actually the majority shareholder of the “indirect” club with just over 410 million euros invested.
There would then be a further detail: the Amsterdam company that “de facto” controls Milan would have two directors. The first is Robert Klein, Gerry Cardinale’s partner in RedBird. The second is a Mister X who appears under the nomenclature of Dentaleus Holding BV. Decisions can only be made if both agree.
