Start Cup Puglia 2024 – Regional Innovation Award – offers the possibility of transforming a business idea into a real enterprise, through support activities, project assistance and cash prizes.
This edition too, repeating a formula consolidated over the years, is divided into two phases: the first, called “Formulation of the Entrepreneurial Idea” and the second, called “Business Plan Competition“.
In the first phase, scheduled until June, potential candidates can request and participate in online support sessions, both individual and joint, aimed at better structuring the Business Plan.
By June 3rd it’s possible book an accompanying session entrepreneurial with expert coaches to structure the business plan:
Business Plan Competition
In the second phase, scheduled from June 17th to September 20th, it is possible to nominate Business Plans for the actual competition. Anyone who intends to participate is not obliged to preliminarily submit the “booking form” requested in the first phase and, therefore, can choose to directly nominate their Business Plan by 20 September, immediately accessing the competition phase. Therefore, from 17 June a BP application platform will be operational with the fields already defined and regulated for the various sections. Furthermore, candidates will have to fill in a presentation form of their Project (which ARTI can use to create the Finalists’ Catalogue). Candidates must indicate in the Business Plan which of the four categories provided for by the Regulations they intend to enroll in: Life Science-MEDTech; ICT; Cleantech-Energy; Industrial.
These are the activities planned:
- Evaluation of the candidate Business Plans and selection of a short list of the best Projects by the Competition Jury (from 21st to 28th September);
- Boot Camp dedicated to the finalists of the Apulian Competition (between 07 and 11 October)
- Final pitch session of the selected teams who will make an oral presentation supported by infographics of their projects during the final event of the SCP (during the final in mid-October);
- at the end of the presentations, again as part of the final event of the SCP, the evaluation of the pitches by the Jury is scheduled and, following, the announcement of the winners and the awards ceremony.
THE 4 winners of the Start Cup Puglia 2024 and the winner of the prize “Green and Blue climate change”, they will have rightful access to PNI – National Innovation Award, scheduled between the end of November and the beginning of December 2024. Also in this case, ARTI provides accompanying sessions – on Business Plan and Pitch – for the winning teams that will represent Puglia at the PNI.
