Below is a statement released by the local police of Andria:
The legality education process promoted by the Local Police Command of Andria continues.
In these days, the Local Police Agents are meeting over 2000 students from the schools in our municipality.
The project aims to provide pupils with the necessary initial knowledge regarding road safety, in order to promote “Road Awareness” in them.
The educational proposal focuses on: becoming aware of the need to respect the simplest and most basic rules of associative life and those that regulate the behavior of the community on the road; on the development of the individual’s sense of responsibility, aimed at acquiring a greater civic sense; on raising awareness of the rules of correct behavior for better use of the “Road”.
The activities aimed at pupils are carried out during school hours. The teachers involved within their respective classes will act as guides in group activities, stimulating awareness-raising moments on road safety issues in order to facilitate the students’ adoption of conscious and responsible behaviour.
In the month of May, the Local Police Agents will meet the pupils of the nursery schools at the headquarters of the Command.
