Diabetes is an extremely dangerous disease and, although its effects have been known for some time, nowadays, our diet, which is often unregulated and careless, exposes us to a very high risk of becoming diabetic.
Raising awareness of a healthy and correct diet and a consequent virtuous lifestyle is essential to help us prevent the onset of diabetes; because of this Saturday 4 May in Pisa in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II will arrive on “Camper of Health”.
The camper will park in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II from 9am to 7pm and at this time anyone who shows up will be able to carry out a free test which will result in the percentage risk of developing diabetes, but also a preventative dermatological visit regarding melanoma.
The prevention project is entitled “Diabetes takes to the streets” and is organized by Lions Club Pisa Host and from Lions Pisa Certosawith the collaboration of Mercy of Pisa And AICM and the patronage of Municipality of Pisa.
