Yet another accident at work

Another accident at work in the Brianza capital. Teams are still working to rescue a 42-year-old man who was involved in an accident while on a construction site.

Just before 3pm today, Wednesday 24 April, a 42-year-old worker was rescued by the medical team and health personnel of the Lissonese Green Cross after being involved in an accident at the workplace on a construction site in Via Giacosa.

The exact dynamics of the incident are yet to be clarified, but from initial information it seems that the employee may have been hit by a beam falling from a crane. Medical staff promptly assisted the man in code red before emergency transport to the emergency room.

The firefighters were also on site

It seems that the colleagues who were with the man inside the construction site in via Giacosa, in the Cederna district, raised the alarm.

After just a few minutes, a team from the Green Cross rushed to the scene, along with the medical staff who arrived with a medical vehicle, the firefighters and also a patrol from the Monza Police Headquarters to carry out all the necessary investigations.

Also on the construction site were ATS Brianza officials who, as per practice, started all the investigations required in cases of accidents at work.
