Ancona24 April 2024 – The celebrations organized by the ANPI (National Association of Partisans of Italy) for the 79th anniversary of the Liberation continue, the 80th for Ancona.
Starting on Saturday 20 April, they will culminate tomorrow, 25 April, with the ceremony scheduled for 10.30 am in Piazza IV Novembre – War Memorial, organized by the Navy Schools Command.
At 11.00, the procession and event will take place from Piazza IV Novembre to Piazza Cavour with the participation of the Banda Musicale di Torrette di Ancona. They will intervene Daniele SilvettiMayor of Ancona e Tamara Ferretti, ANPI National Secretariat. At 6.00 pm Concert Teatro delle Muse – Ancona Wind Orchestra.

This morning the commemoration was celebrated at the Allied War Cemetery in Passo Varano with the participation of school groups. The municipal administration was represented by the councilor Daniele Berardinelli who spent time with the kids, focusing on the history of the liberation of Ancona, which took place in July 1944.
