Sport, Manes: «exclude amateur clubs from state aid». An agenda from the Aosta Valley MP Franco Manes passes to the Chamber which commits the Government, at European level, to intervene in favor of entities, such as the Aosta Valley cycling club, which do not pursue long-term economic objectives, so that they are excluded from the application of the legislation on state aid, even under the de minimis regime, thus being able to receive contributions directly.
The comment
Manes: «There is certainly satisfaction for an issue felt in various territorial areas of our country and also in Valle d’Aosta, where the current European legislation risks preventing the organization of various sporting events organized by amateur clubs in the future. A concern that was expressed to us on the occasion of a meeting organized by the regional administration a few months ago, together with Senator Spelgatti.”
Manes concludes: «An action requested by the regional government and made effective with teamwork with the regional administration. Now it is necessary to monitor the issue and understand how to act on future European discussions.”
