The second meeting of the Council of the Brindisi-Taranto Chamber of Commerce, chaired by Vincenzo Cesareo, took place this morning (24 April 2024) in the headquarters of Via Bastioni Carlo V in Brindisi. On the agenda, among the various points under discussion, is also the approval of the final budgets for the 2023 financial year of the two Chambers of Brindisi and Taranto and of the related three special agencies. «The closing of the 2023 budgets for the pre-existing Chambers of Commerce was a necessary act to proceed with the interim operations and finally arrive at planning – said President Cesareo, sitting at the table with the vice presidents Gentile and Giangrande. We unanimously decided that this second, important Council following the establishment of the new body would take place in the Brindisi headquarters”.
«The Chambers of Commerce have a fundamental role as a bridge between market players and the State. We are convinced, therefore – concluded Cesareo – that the provisions of the legislation regarding the adequate representativeness of the two constituencies must also be fulfilled by ensuring a physical presence of the Bodies in the offices of Via Bastioni Carlo V in Brindisi and Viale Virgilio in Taranto, in order to demonstrate to businesses, citizens and professionals the closeness of the Institution and the men and women who work there”.
