Yellow flag, it’s a political clash – Teramo

We have continued to see numerous election announcements for years now, which so far have only served to pass the time and double the costs of the work.”
According to the councillors, «in the rest of the city, cyclists move risking their lives at every intersection, not even the main roads can be used without running into danger. At present, outside the seafront we see bad roads and uncontrolled motor vehicle speeds. Beyond the awards written on paper, therefore, Martinsicuro is not a bicycle-proof city. The city limit of 30 per hour, one of the two determining elements for obtaining the yellow flag, is neither respected nor controlled.” Lattanzi and Viola recall that the Fiab recognition «should be a guarantee of safety for citizens, the impulse for gentle mobility and a city with less smog. It’s not enough to display a flag or put up a sign, today’s situation offers no positive impact for those who want to use the bicycle for leisure or necessity.” (sds,)
