“Chicco San” with this nickname many fans of Milan they remember Alberico Evanithe AC Milan hero who in the final of the Intercontinental Cup in Tokyo scored the decisive goal from a free kick against the Colombians of Atlético Nacional of Medellín in the last minute of extra time.
But Evani’s career was also much more. In the evening organized by Milan Club Faenza “Carlo Sangiorgi” in the registered office at Green District, the former Tuscan champion told it to the Rossoneri fans. Interviewed by the president of the association Giuseppe Sangiorgi, Evani retraced his sporting life, which began at the age of 14 when he arrived in Milanello from his native Massa. Evani, a true man of sport, always simple and easy-going, achieved important results with great sacrifices, building a career of depth that himself traces in the book “Don’t call me Bubu”, presented during the event, where he narrates his personal story, his footballing life, his affections with so much humanity and an elegance of soul that has always distinguished him. “I experienced incredible emotions and met companions that I have never lost over the years” said Chicco, recalling the great relationship of esteem and affection with mister Arrigo Sacchi, and many colleagues including Sergio Battistini, with whom he began his sporting adventure starting at a very young age from Tuscany towards Milan, Filippo Galli, Daniele Massaro, Franco Baresi, Paolo Maldini and Roberto Mancini, Fausto Salsano. There is so much emotion when talking about comrades who are no longer with us: Sinisa Mihailovic, Gian Luca Vialli “living example for the entire Italian team in the role of head of delegation of the national team victorious at the European Championship three years ago” and Stefano Borgonovo.
The evening took place in several parts.
