Rho celebrations for April 25th

Rho – The municipal administration remembers the liberation of Italy from the fascist dictatorship and the Nazi occupation of the country which took place on 25 April 1945.

9.00 am Celebration of the Holy Mass in the Provost Church of San Vittore

9.45am Piazza San Vittore: Inauguration of the exhibition “Beyond the partisan resistance. The other Resistance of the Military Internees” edited by ANPI Rho. Composition and start of the procession from Piazza San Vittore along via Madonna – via Martiri della Libertà – C.so Europa

10.30am Arrival at the cemetery. Stop at the Shrine of the Fallen chapel and Shrine of the Partisans for the laying of wreaths. Stop and lay the wreath at the monument to those fallen for the Resistance and at the plaque dedicated to Giovanni Pesce.

Recomposition and continuation of the procession Corso Europa and via De Amicis

11.15am Songs by the students of the Anna Frank State Comprehensive Institute and holding of celebratory speeches in Piazza San Vittore.

10:00 – 12:00 Piazza San Vittore: Presentation of the podcast “The days of the Resistance” edited by the Tourist Infopoint and ANPI Rho

In case of rain the exhibition will be moved under the porticoes of via Madonna.
