Lighted grills, music all day long and lots of fun are for the people of the Contrada the «fundamental elements to start the most beautiful month of the year in the best way in the red-white-red Contrada. Throughout the day the Manor will be animated by guided tours that will illustrate the display of clothes of the little paraders. Archers, banners, pages and handmaids are the roles assigned to the young Contrada people who take part in the historic parade on the last Sunday of May. At 12:00 the winners of the first edition of the will be awarded “Barbara Costa Award”, in honor of the non-regent Castellana. More than 500 students from the Don Milani, De Amicis and Monti Roveda schools enjoyed drawing a crown, the symbol of chatelaines.

The “jury”, made up of Barbara’s family and the regents, then selected two drawings for each category of students. Up for grabs is an invitation for 3 people to the Christmas Eve Dinner which will be held on Saturday 25 May,
to bring children and their families closer to the Nobile Contrada San Magno and the Palio di Legnano. The winner of the “Palio drawings” prize will be announced at 12.30pm, Viola Barletta of the 5th A class of De Amicis schools, a project conceived by the Collegio dei Capitani e delle Contrade. The fifth and sixth grade students of the Legnano schools were involved in depicting the Palio di Legnano and specifically their Contrada through drawings. Among all the works presented, one was chosen for be reproduced on the car that the districts will have in use in the month of May.
