San Nicola La Strada / Caserta – The State Police of Caserta arrested a 50-year-old, originally from Caserta, for mistreatment of his partner, also reported for resisting a public official. The Flying Squad intervened in San Nicola la Strada due to a dispute between a woman and a man, who was not present at the time. On the spot, the police gathered the first information on the reasons for the discussion, noticing some signs of redness on her face, initially minimized by the woman. During her story, her partner arrived and, in a state of anger, tried to attack her, threatening her with death, and subsequently attacking the police. Blocked, he was found in possession of a switchblade. The investigations made it possible to reveal a situation of repeated, never reported violence, which occurred in the domestic environment, against the woman and her daughter. At the end of the formalities, the individual was arrested and, upon order of the Public Prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, associated with the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
