Child bitten and killed by pitbull will be buried in Salerno

This afternoon, the child’s body was handed over to his family for a final farewell, after an autopsy was performed on the little body by the medical examiner. Mother, Paola Ferrentinoand the child’s grandfather, Franco Santoro, had expressed the desire that the child be buried in the Salerno cemetery to be close to an aunt who recently passed away. Mayor Vincenzo Napoli accepted the request. Meanwhile, for tomorrow, the mayor of Eboli, Mario Conte – who will be present at the funeral – has proclaimed city mourning.
