TIVOLI – Transport, the Cotral bus arrives on trial for three months

From the ordinance it emerges that on 12 January the municipal administrations of Tivoli and Guidonia Montecelio, led respectively by mayor Giuseppe Proietti and from mayor Mauro Lombardothey have requested Cotral to establish a dedicated line for Campolimpido, Favale and La Bottethree neighborhoods that host a significant presence of workers commuters which have Rome and the mining area of ​​Tivoli and Guidonia Montecelio as their reference.

Among other things, the neighborhood Campolimpido It’s an area that’s constantly evolving construction growth and then record a constant population increase in particular in the hamlet belonging to the Municipality of Tivoli, where the inhabitants are not served by the local regional extra-urban public transport service managed by the Compagnia Trasporti Laziali (Cotral spa), an in-house company of the Lazio Region.

The new stop, proposed by majority city councilor Angelo Marinelliis intended to increase the number of Cotral connections from the Campolimpido district to the Tivoli-Rome-Tivoli route.

Cotral has guaranteed the public service on an experimental basis for the next three months.
