After months of sold out screenings and being at the top of the ranking of the most viewed films in Italy, the documentary “Food for Profit” will be screened on Tuesday 7 May at 9pm in Arezzo, at the Ducci auditorium in via Cesalpino 53 (free admission ).

“Food for Profit” is an investigative documentary with a cinematic approach created by “Report” journalist Giulia Innocenzi and Pablo D’Ambrosio. It shows the thread that links the meat industry, lobbies and political power, with billions of euros allocated by the European Union to livestock farming.

A shocking journey made by the two directors around Europe together with a team of investigators who worked undercover on farms to reveal the reality and horror that hide behind the excellence of meat and cheese production.

The screening will be followed by a debate with people who deal with animal issues.

The documentary will also be broadcast on TV tomorrow, during the episode of “Report” on Rai3.

The screening in Arezzo is organized by the “Knowing to choose” group.
