two people reported for aggravated fraud

They would have received undue contributions during the pandemic emergency. On charges of aggravated fraud and material and ideological falsehood, the carabinieri of the Labor Inspectorate Unit, in concert with the INPS staff, two people reported.

From the documentation acquired and analyzed by the military personnel, it emerged that a sixty-four-year-old, owner of a company in Mazara del Vallo, during the COVID-19 emergency, would have resorted to the salary integration treatment (provided for cases of suspension or reduction in work activity), even though the workers had continued to perform regular activities.

During the checks it also emerged that a forty-year-old, despite being hired within the company, he would never have actually performed any work, illegally receiving allowances which were currently being quantified.

The amount of the sums illicitly received would amount to over thirteen thousand euros, while the non-compliances found allowed the recovery of over one hundred and fifty thousand euros in INPS contributions and sanctions.

Finally, administrative violations worth almost thirty-five thousand euros were found for previous illegal work involving three workers.
