Two events, on particularly interesting topics, are scheduled for next week and promoted by the Culture Department of the Municipality of Crotone.

The first will be held on May 9th at 11 am in the Council Room on “Active citizenship”. The councilor Nicola Corigliano he promoted the establishment of the Register of Active citizenship which has the purpose of promote participation and collaboration of citizens to carry out activities of general interest, solidarity, supplementary and not substitutive of municipal institutional services, provided in a personal, spontaneous, non-profit manner and exclusively for solidarity purposes and is a way of involving citizens in active participation in public life, an opportunity for social aggregation as well as to strengthen the sense of community.

It will be Thursday Like this the opportunity to thank the associations which promote the protection of the city’s cultural and landscape heritage. In the next weeks other moments will be dedicated to other associations who meritoriously are protagonists of active citizenship activities and who promote culture at every level.

The second event It will take place on May 10th at 10.30 in the Council Chamber in collaboration with Aido and the Nikol Ferrari association on the topic “The culture of donation multiplies life”.

After the greetings of Mayor Voce and the introduction of the Councilor for Culture Nicola Corigliano, will interveneo Rosalia Boito medical director of Nephrology and Dialysis of the S. Giovanni di Dio Hospital and president of Aido Crotone, Francesco De Raffaele responsible of the Registry Office of the Municipality of Crotone, Pellegrino Mancini director of the regional transplant center Reggio Calabria, Luciano Formaro president of the association Nikol Ferrari and, after the testimonies of relatives of organ donors, the conclusions will be entrusted to Franco Renda, provincial president of Aido.
