The Municipality of Orino has its first mayoral candidate. This is Federico Raosoutgoing city councilor, director of Insubria di Varese and councilor of the Campo dei Fiori Park board.
The decision, to launch himself into the race for the next local elections, comes after a journey full of experiences, which have allowed him to develop varied skills, ready to revive Orino.
This, «in continuity with the work carried out by the good administration that preceded us – explains Raos – but with a personal touch and with the introduction of new energy».
Orinese since 2007, Raos is running with a civic list, “NoiXOrino”which embraces a variety of figures: some with solid administrative experience, such as the outgoing deputy mayor Raffaella Meroni, others who are entering the public service for the first time, «all, however, united by the love for Orino» adds Raos .
Among the highlights of the program, which will soon be presented to the population, the promotion of associations and subsidiaritythe commitment to sustainability it’s a new approach to administrative work based on sharing choices, transparency and good administration, with the aim of giving new impetus to the country, starting with the valorisation of the library.
And it is precisely the library, conceived as a cultural hub, that plays a fundamental role for Raos, who aims to promote initiatives aimed at transforming Orino into a vibrant cultural center: «Culture not only enriches, but creates a positive environment for the community. Investing in culture means looking forward, investing in the future.”
When, finally, he is asked why he should be voted for, Raos answers sincerely: «For who I am. Because of how they know me and how they have learned to know me over these 20 years. They know what I want to bring to the country, overcoming divisions and personalism. I make myself available without presumption, with my professional history and my commitment to the community.”
