Colorado offensive linemen Savion Washington has committed to Syracuse out of the NCAA transfer portal, https://twitter.com/savionwash/status/1782942097164882346?s=46&t=TsujW0749NZTVeSSvCEa3g on Tuesday night.
Washington spent just one year in Colorado before transferring.
He played in 10 games for the Buffaloes, starting in nine of them. He saw 660 total snaps, so he got extensive work, with all of it coming at right tackle. He carried a 69.4 pass-blocking grade, per Pro Football Focus.
Before he was at Colorado, Washington spent three seasons suiting up for Kent State. He started 11 games in 2022 and helped Kent State’s offensive average over 28 points and 400 yards per game, with a clip of almost 5.0 yards per carry on the ground.
Prior to enrolling at Kent State, Savion Washington was a three-star prospect and the No. 2,278 overall recruit in the nation in the 2020 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
He also checked in as the No. 231 offensive tackle in his class and the No. 89 overall player in the state of Ohio, hailing from Akron (OH) St. Vincent-St. Mary.
Syracuse loses a defensive back to the portal
Syracuse defensive back Bralyn Oliver has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.
Oliver spent three years at Syracuse after transferring in from Louisville following a very brief stint with the Cardinals. He’s had a relatively limited impact on the field so far.
In nine appearances, Oliver has recorded just five tackles.
Prior to enrolling at Louisville and later transferring to Syracuse, Bralyn Oliver was a three-star prospect and the No. 545 overall recruit in the nation in the 2021 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
He also checked in as the No. 43 safety in the class and the No. 30 overall player from the state of North Carolina, hailing from Cornelius (NC) William Amos Hough.
