The event organized by the Italian Federation of Sport Fishing, Underwater Activities and Finswimming in collaboration with the ASD La Salle Eridano once again saw the athlete from Frentana on the shields who set two world records in the 50 meter pool of the Tricate municipal swimming pool CMAS-World Confederation of Underwater Activities. In fact, in the dynamic freediving without equipment Ilenia reached 62.25 metres, while in the dynamic with equipment she reached 115.60 metres, two performances which also allowed her to bring home the respective national titles and which confirmed her at the tops of this sport that he discovered thanks to the Apnea Team Abruzzo family.
The performances in Turin follow those already achieved only last April 7th when in Agropoli (Sa) Ilenia brought home three overall titles at the Italian Paralympic Finswimming Speed ​​Championship (50m, 100m, 200m).
Titles and records which, however, do not represent a point of arrival for the athlete of the Vasto-San Salvese club, but a new incentive to improve in order to be prepared for new important events such as the one scheduled from 14 to 18 November in Lignano Sabbiadoro where the next Indoor Paralympic Freediving World Championship will take place. After a few days of rest, therefore, Ilenia will return to training to be ready for the new challenges that await her over the next few months.
