Shock in Rome. A girl reported being drugged and raped by two men after being lured on Instagram. Twenty years old, the young woman was found by her boyfriend in a confused state in front of a bar in Torre Angela where she then told her what had happened. The young man then filed a complaint at the Casilino police station while the 20-year-old was examined and then discharged from the Tor Vergata polyclinic where she was then taken. For her 40 days of prognosis.
According to what we learn, the girl, a 20-year-old Italian, reported having been drugged and raped by two people in an apartment on the eastern outskirts where she was allegedly taken by deception. She disappeared all night, the young woman was then tracked down by her boyfriend on April 18th after being located with the smartphone app in front of a bar in Via di Torrenova.
Filing a complaint the same day at the Torre Maura police offices, the 20-year-old told her boyfriend that she had met the two men on Instagram on April 16th. She was invited to drink and, according to her story, the two of them offered her a ride to the subway stop. Then, with an excuse, they would have managed to get her up to an apartment where, in a dark room, she would have been repeatedly raped by her two, after having been drugged.
The investigation by police investigators, coordinated by the anti-violence pool of the Rome prosecutor’s office, is underway after filing a report on sexual violence. Investigations are also underway by investigators on social platforms, to trace the two who may have a profile and would therefore be identifiable.
