Motor Valley Fest, Talent Talk in Modena for over 1,500 emerging young people – SulPanaro

MODENA – Over 1,500 young people are expected between Thursday 2 May (from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm) and Friday 3 May (from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) at the Teatro del Collegio San Carlo (via San Carlo 5, Modena) for the Motor Valley Fest Talent Talk, the space dedicated to emerging talents, students of technical institutes, professionals and researchers. An unrepeatable opportunity to talk about the “professions of tomorrow” in the automotive world, for two days which will give the opportunity to discover the skills most requested by the market today, but also the academic training paths envisaged to achieve these professional skills and the impact of the new technologies in the sector.

They will be 11 Talent Talks of the Motor Valley Fest with representatives of the top brands of the Land of Motors of Emilia-Romagna, including Maserati, Bosch, Pagani, Tesla, Dallara, Ducati, Automobili Lamborghini, Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team, Ferrari, Energica, MUNER -Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna, Alpine. To participate (in person or remotely) you must register on the Motor Valley website. The Talent Talks will also be live streamed on the Motor Valley Fest YouTube channel. From the world of schools to that of the most innovative entrepreneurial adventures of the moment. There will be 45 Italian and international start-ups that will participate in the B2B meeting with the main representatives of the Motor Valley companies during the event “Meet & Match”, scheduled for Thursday 2 May in the Courtyard of Honor of the Military Academy of Modena.

Active in different fields, from software development to AI, from big data to cybersecurity and sustainable mobility, the start-ups at the Motor Valley Fest will present solutions to optimize performance, for logistics, for wireless power, to simplify processes production or sanitation, to strengthen the workforce. And again, innovative car sharing systems, products and fabrics for sustainable mobility, innovative energy accumulators, microLEDs and microsensors to improve visual experiences, predictive quality software for automotive production, new projects for agile vehicles, advanced engineering services , touch technologies, flying motorcycles, color-changing nanomaterials for intelligent surfaces, AR glasses as a vehicle-driver interface, dynamic simulators. Among the many innovations there is also a neural interface that connects the brain with all electronic devices (e.g. drones), but also software for contactless monitoring of the health of passengers inside vehicles, technologies capable of detecting how passengers feel people while using self-driving cars, and service platforms (for example for shipping goods).

In Piazza Grande, for the entire duration of the Motor Valley Fest, 9 Italian universities will be the protagonists with an area dedicated exclusively to teams, racing teams and at the display of Formula SAE cars designed by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, the University of Pisa, the University of Pavia, the Polytechnic of Milan, the University of Padua, the University of Bologna, the University of Brescia, the University of Salento, the University of Rome. The presence of two start-ups is also expected: 2electron, and Driving Simulation Center, which will exhibit an innovative driving simulator. Also in Piazza Grande, for the younger ones, on 3 May from 12.00 to 20.00, on 4 May from 10.00 to 20.00 and on 5 May from 10.00 to 16.00 “F1 in Schools Italy”, the race that brings together the best talents from all over Italy, it will be possible to test one’s engineering skills by designing and building a single-seater racing car to compete in exciting speed challenges.
