Avis Massa-Carrara, excellent results in 2023: 7364 blood and plasma donations

MASSA-CARRARA – In 2023 the municipal Avis of Massa, Carrara, Montignoso and Fosdinovo totaled 7364 donations of which 4986 were blood, 2214 plasmapheresis and another 164 miscellaneous donations. Important numbers, compared to the 41,375 donations totaled by the North West Area, where our Province represents almost 18% of the donations made, demonstrating that the work of the four municipal presidents, Bellanti Carlo (Avis Massa) Baruffi Nicola (Avis Carrara) Di Matteo Ilaria (Avis Montignoso) and Boriassi Mirco (Avis Fosdinovo) were fundamental in ensuring that the donations, and everything else, was carried out in the best possible way.

During 2023, awareness and propaganda activities were optimal, experiencing an excellent response from our donors who always prove ready to make a huge contribution with a small gesture. The work of Avis Apuane was also appreciated during the general assembly of Avis Toscana which took place on the weekend of 20-21 April in Prato, where Avis Zonale Massa-Carrara highlighted the commitment of the members, promising even better results. important.

At a regional level, Avis represents 51% of the collection, proving to be a strong and organized association, the result of the commitment of the regional management led by Claudia Firenze and the operators of the Avis Toscana offices. To complete the excellent work at provincial level there is also Lunigiana with their 2134 donations, thus reaching a total of 9498 donations in the province of Massa-Carrara, an excellent result.
