Furthermore, the strange timing of the resignation of a suspect was not overlooked. There are, in fact, some investigations on the message to the former councilor Alfonso Pisicchio before the arrest. Pisicchio is the former regional councilor and Arti commissioner, arrested on 10 April as part of the investigation by the Bari Prosecutor’s Office. Was Pisicchio warned beforehand that a request for his arrest was about to descend upon him?

A story confirmed by Michele Laforgia, the Grillino candidate for the Bari municipal elections. In Bari and Puglia there is a group of untouchables to whom everything is allowed, even normalizing absolutely pathological phenomena. Acquiring and using confidential information (such as, for example, the arrest of Alfonso Pisicchio) is a crime, but it seems normal. There is a system of power that is based on positions and rivers of money useful for consensus: is this normal?”, wrote the vice-president of the National Anti-Mafia Commission, Mauro D’Attis of Forza Italia, in a note a few days ago.
