the police arrive in Corso Cavour

Frustration, incivility and lack of adequate protection for employees. A dangerous mix that marks the explosion of verbal and physical violence in healthcare facilities. Not even those in Cesena are exempt. A recent case occurred at the ASL headquarters in Corso Cavour (Cup and clinic). This was reported by the CISL union, which takes the opportunity to ask the AUSL “for an effort in terms of employee protection, in line with the provisions of the plan shared at regional level”. A few days ago there was an episode, which required the intervention of the police, in which some employees were verbally attacked. “The man, who was the protagonist of the verbal aggression – testifies the CISL – then left and returned again and was visibly injured in the leg, violently asking to be treated. The staff advised him, given the wound, to go to the emergency room, offering to call the ambulance, but he refused by railing even more”. “Unfortunately it is not an isolated event – says Maria Antonietta Pedrelli, CISL FP Romagna secretary – Precisely for this situation the Corso Cavour garrison had to close a third entrance, accessible only by staff, as it was often used improperly, vandalizing the public toilet present on the ground floor and also creating inconvenience for the users present”.
