Today Saturday 4 May, in Piazzale della Panchina at 7.30 pm, Siculiana dedicates an entire evening to Ayrton Senna, a champion with undisputed Siculian origins who was able, through sport, to promote the values of courage, determination and solidarity.
During the evening, the museum project dedicated to the three-time Formula One champion, Ayrton Senna, will be presented and in the same event the ceremony for the signing of the ‘Friendship Pact’ between Siculiana and the municipality of Imola will be held.
The architects Francesco Ferla and Salvatore Nigrelli will speak to illustrate the museum project, while the journalists Anna Restivo and Giacinto Pipitone will talk about Ayrton Senna’s Sicilian origins.
During the event Marco Panieri, mayor of Imola and Giuseppe Zscopio, mayor of Siculiana will sign the Friendship Pact between the two communities”. An event celebrated as part of the thirtieth anniversary of the tragic death of Ayrton Senna, during which Siculiana, in the person of the mayor Giuseppe Zaiuto, will pay homage to ‘her’ Ayrton Senna.
