Prealpi Gas Srl, a company that manages the methane gas distribution service in the municipalities of Busto Arsizio and Gallaratefollowing some reports received, deems it appropriate to remind end customers/users that Prealpi Gas does NOT deal with methane gas supply contracts, therefore it does not carry out home checks in relation to gas supply contracts signed by end customers (VAT rates, tariffs, excise duties, etc.) nor does it have new contracts signed at their homes.

Prealpi Gas DOES NOT ask for money: Prealpi Gas staff who go to the homes of end customers do not directly request money, checks, etc. Payments for estimates for the construction and/or relocation of gas supply outlets are to be made solely and exclusively by bank transfer, while the payment of consumption bills is NOT one of the activities within the competence of Prealpi Gas.

Prealpi Gas DOES NOT carry out post-meter checks (boilers – water heaters), with the exception of checks on internal systems concurrent with emergency interventions (gas leaks, interruptions and irregularities in the gas supply) requested on the toll-free number 800.25.16.28.

Prealpi Gasin the case of scheduled maintenance activities of the systems under its responsibility (replacement of meters, repair of ducts, etc.) at users’ homes, operates by appointment and during business hours from Monday to Friday, by notifying by telephone and/or through written communications.

Prealpi Gas staff who go to Users’ homes are always recognizable by their uniform with the company brand and/or identification card, which the Users themselves can ask to show.

Furthermore, we remind you that: the staff of external companies that carry out gas meter readings on behalf of
Prealpi Gas, in addition to its identification card, is equipped with a letter of assignment from Prealpi Gas which it must show upon request of the User; Prealpi Gas DOES NOT market any products and/or equipment for domestic use for gas leaks or in any case linked to internal methane gas distribution systems, nor does it collaborate through agreements with third-party companies that produce or market such products.

We therefore invite you to be wary of alleged gas workers who present themselves by telephone or physically at your home as Prealpi Gas employees and/or authorized by Prealpi Gas itself to carry out the above-mentioned activities.

In case of doubts, the switchboard number 0331/304.501 remains available to the User (from Monday to Thursday from 9.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 17.00 and on Fridays from 9.00 to 14.00), as well as recommending, if necessary, reporting to the police.

Finally, it is known that Prealpi Gas Srl, in order to provide an information channel of immediate support to the end customer in the search for information regarding the activation and management of their natural gas supply, has for some months been equipped with a specific section FAQ&Questions and Answers (https://prealpigas.it/faq-domande-rispetti/), which can be consulted from the homepage of the company website.
