New president for the provincial health consultancy. Elisa Viliotti succeeds Renzo Dori at the helm of the consultative body. Elisa Viliotti is the new president of the provincial health council. The elections took place this afternoon in the rooms of the Provincial Health Department. Viliotti succeeds Renzo Dori, outgoing president and in office since 2019 who has decided not to run again. The provincial councilor for health, social policies and cooperation, after thanking Dori for the great competence and knowledge demonstrated in his mandate, reiterated the importance of the contribution provided by the Council to face the new challenges of healthcare.

The Consulta, created in 2010 and operational since 2012, is made up of voluntary associations that operate to protect the right to health and carries out consultancy, impetus and proposal roles. In guaranteeing his maximum availability for discussion and reiterating the importance of every contribution to give more effective responses to citizens, the councilor also ensured the involvement of the provincial health council in view of the most current issues that the department is addressing such as prevention, the birth rate decline, the aging of the population and the development of community medicine also with the aim of shortening long waits for specialist visits and services.
Elisa Viliotti, president of Avis del Trentino, was elected with 22 votes out of 23 and a blank ballot.
