Through innovative methodologies and engaging activities they have made learning more stimulating, providing students with fundamental skills and knowledge to face the challenges of the future. And it is precisely the combination of environmental sustainability, creativity and educational innovation that makes Estra’s project a unique experience. This synergy, where there is also space for theatre, storytelling, outings and practical experiences, inspired students to develop a critical awareness of environmental challenges and to seek innovative solutions to address them.
“After last year’s success – declared the President of Estra, Francesco Macrì –
which started the new “Traveling Schools” project, we are really very satisfied
of the great results obtained again this year in terms of involvement and active participation of students and teachers. This only confirms the winning choice made by Estra in wanting to promote an ambitious, transversal and innovative educational project on environmental sustainability that leveraged the creative drive and multiple use of expressive languages.”
The ten winning schools will be the protagonists of special award ceremonies during
who will be able to enjoy their well-deserved prize: the show “Il Grande Sconquasso” by
Straligut Theater which will touch schools as if in a real theater tour
awarded, giving life to the Traveling Schools Sustainability Tour. This show,
produced by Estra for schools and which last year was seen by more than 1,700 spectators,
represents a concrete expression of Estra’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
Using an innovative system of self-production of energy via a generator bike
and photovoltaic panels, the show is characterized by low energy consumption and
an environmental impact reduced to zero. During the performance an actress-narrator
tells the adventures of his journey, inspiring the audience to reflect on the importance of change and the possibility of building a better future together.
The project still reserves some surprises: to reward the commitment of all classes
