Scarves, flags and carousels of celebrating cars and motorbikes which, with rhythmic honking, attract the attention of the whole city. The colour, however, is not the red and white of Bari. Waving through the streets of the center (and beyond) is the Nerazzurri of one of the two Milan teams: Inter, who after winning the ‘derby of the Madonnina’ against Milan, can officially celebrate the title of Italian champion and the conquest of the second star, a celestial symbol that pays homage to the victory of the twentieth championship. On the seafront side, Madonnella area, at the final whistle someone also lit fireworks (then also set off at the gates of old Bari).

The center of the party then, as often happens on these occasions, was Corso Vittorio Emanuele: a road blocked by hundreds of Inter fans crazy with joy, some smoke bombs and chants galore. “We are the champions of Italy”, the fans of Lautaro Martinez and company repeated endlessly. Just before midnight, right in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the police also arrived. Party interrupted, road cleared and (perhaps) everyone asleep.
