Aurora Vodice Sabaudia, Beltramini: “Collective victory: thanks to everyone”

If for the red and white it could have been considered a concrete objective from the beginning of the season, for the Pontini it was a pleasant surprise: “It wasn’t our initial goal – confesses the yellow and blue coach Gianluca Beltramini – because with the club we had focused on the growth of the young people who this year had been chosen to replace last season’s unconfirmed starters. Little by little, however, we began to believe that we could complete an important journey, an awareness that for me came after the two convincing victories with Torrice and Boville in the first round. The secret was to continue with the same attitude as the first few days, that is, wanting to get on the field to have fun and do well, a way of thinking that we have never abandoned also thanks to a calm environment that never put pressure on us. Now we will continue to pursue these objectives also in the last two days, where I will probably give space to those who have had less opportunity to show themselves.” In his debut on the bench as first coach Beltramini obtained the best possible result, significantly increasing his chances of he reconfirms: “I clearly couldn’t imagine a better first year than this – he admits – and I have to thank the club for offering me this opportunity after two years as a trainer. We still have to talk about the future, but I think I can say that a large part of the squad will be confirmed and also the technical staff. In this case I don’t think the working method between First Category and Promotion will change much, more than anything else adjustments will have to be made at the gaming system level. In any case, now it’s time to thank: firstly to the club, then to all the collaborators who always made everything work perfectly, on and off the pitch. I would also like to dedicate a special mention to Gianluca Antonetti, Roberto Nania and Stefano Tosi, managers and true driving forces of this company. Last but not least, we must thank the players: they are the ones who went on the pitch to achieve this goal.”
