Romano Amadeipatron of the Reggiana, was interviewed for “Il Resto del Carlino” and spoke about the team’s moment, fresh from the heavy defeat against Cosenza. Nesta’s men are the next opponents of the Palermo: the race is scheduled for Saturday 27 April at 4.15 pm.
“Palermo is a good team and is fighting for the playoffs – he claims – . Let’s see how it goes. Maybe we’ll go get ourselves a point that could be good. But this doesn’t mean – and don’t get this message across – that we should go there to play for a draw. You play to win.”
On Nesta’s position, he says: “There are four games left, if I knew that at the end of the championship we would be safe, I wouldn’t change anything. However, if you were worried that things might go wrong, it may be that you need to change something to try to make them go better. Who knows… It’s all in flux“.
The owner also talks about the fans’ protest after the defeat against Cosenza: “It’s not to avoid the discussion, but I’m not going to judge. I’m just saying that too often we move from exaltation to contestation“.
