A delicate match for the yellow and blues, in full battle to avoid relegation and fresh from three consecutive victories which, with three matches still to go until the end of the season, took the Murgian falchetti out of the playout zone for the first time since the start of the championship.
Tomorrow’s match at 3pm at the Vicino stadium is against Bitonto who are sailing in even more murky waters than those of the team coached by Mister Catalano, who since his return to the bench has a promotion roadmap with three wins, one draw and one single defeat.
Opposite the yellow-blues will be Bitonto, who with 27 points, occupy the penultimate place in the table and who in Gravina will attempt the desperate feat to avoid direct relegation. Neroverdi who won 2-0 over Palmese in the last season of the championship, thus interrupting a negative series of four matches completely without points.
A fundamental challenge for the two teams, who in addition to trying to bring home the three points, will have their fingers crossed hoping that positive news will arrive from the other fields, where the direct competitors will be engaged in the fight not to be relegated.
Fasano with 35 points, one less than Gravina, hosts the bottom of the class, Santa Maria del Cilento; Angri, which has 32 points, awaits Paganese at home; while Gallipoli, at 31 points, have the prohibitive trip to Team Altamura’s pitch and Barletta, stuck at 30 points, will visit second in the standings, Martina. A situation in which not even Manfredonia can feel confident with 37 points, just one point behind Fbc Gravina and which will be on stage at Degli Ulivi in Andria.
To close the day Casarano-Matera; Nardò-Rotonda and Palmese-Gelbison.
