Third of the four test matches for Italy U19 who, after the two matches against Japan and England, face Wales today in Viareggio, closing the series of spring matches.

Perfect start for the Azzurrini, with the charge well carried forward by the group, the ball goes to the attacker Calosso, offload for Pensieri who smashes the goal after three minutes: 7 to 0. In the 5th minute, a free kick for Italy and a great finish from Pietramala, who scores from almost 50 metres: 10 to 0. The boys are on a war footing, in the breakdown they grind away, at 8th there is an advantage ball from Sari to Low who finds a break, recycling for Whorrod who scores: 15-0. Extremely tough Azzurrini, another wave in the Welsh area, ball for Milan that goes over the line… but is held high.
Wales reaction, which begins to attack in an abrasive way, an opening found by Rees who goes into the middle of the field: 15 to 7. Italy is now suffering and Wales slowly tries to come back . In the 53rd minute there is a free kick, played directly and broken by Emanule who goes between the posts for 29 to 24. But the Azzurrini did well a minute later: ball on the wing for Ndoumbe who accelerated, avoided a tackle and smashed on the line for 36 to 24. Continuous back and forth: in the 58th minute touch for the guests, excellent one-two with hooker Austin who scores on the flag for 36 to 29.
Decisive extension in the 71st minute with Di Censi’s try which brings our team up 46 to 29. In the 75th minute Wales scores again with Emanuel’s second, which makes the final 46 to 36.
Italy did well, closing the international test series with two victories and one defeat.
