GABICCE – The drugs buried in the garden, in handcuffs.
In recent days the carabinieri of the Gabicce Mare station they arrested a young 32-year-old non-EU citizen who was illegal on national territory, because he was responsible for detention for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances. In the previous days, the military had received convergent information regarding the presence of a young man who, with a suspicious attitude, went to an agricultural field in the area, even at rather unusual times. The military therefore set up observation services to verify the veracity of the news received.
On the morning of April 15th, the police noticed a person gingerly crossing the marked agricultural land, stopping at the edge of a road and bending down to hide or remove something from the ground. At that point, the police decided to intervene in a surprising way the young man holding some jars in which there were numerous doses of cocaine, ready for sale, for a total of approximately 32 grams. The subsequent house search made it possible to seize material for cutting, weighing and packaging the narcotic, as well as the sum of cash 1500 euros, deemed to be the proceeds of the illicit drug dealing activity. The subject was therefore arrested in flagrante delicto and subjected, in the following days, to a validation trial and contextual very direct trial at the Court of Pesaro, following which he was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison.
