At San Nicola it ends with a good draw for Aquilani’s Pisa
PISA – Pisa gets an important draw (1-1) on the Bari pitch. Calabresi takes the lead after three minutes and the first half is played great by Pisa who could even close it out. In the second half Bari started better and found the equalizer with Puscas’ penalty. Pisa tries to win at the end and Bari also has their chances but the match ends in a draw after six minutes of injury time.

PRE-RACE. Mister Aquilani confirms Nicolas in goal in Bari and Hermasson alongside Calabresi and Caracciolo. The Icelandic’s great performance against FeralpiSalò was rewarded. Canestrelli paid the price and initially sat on the bench. For the rest of the 3-4-1-2 space for Marin and Esteves in front of the defense with Barbieri and D’Alessandro on the wings and Moreo as the sole striker. The injured Barberis and the unavailable Ernesto Torregrossa are missing from Pisa. Bari responds with 4-3-1-2. In front of Brenno are Dorval, Di Cesare, Vicari and Ricci. Federico Giampaolo, Marco’s younger brother, makes his debut among the pros to lead the Apulians in this season finale. From the first minute two surprises for the Galletti with the choice of Morachioli and Kallon on the pitch from the first minute. Pisa in yellow shirt, with the home team they play today with a special silver shirt with red, white and blue details which is part of a special capsule, the third chapter of the three-way collaboration between LC23, Kappa®️ and SSC Bari. The project, studied a year ago by designer Leonardo Colacicco, consists of a capsule of two match kits (one silver and one blue and black, both with red and white details), two collectible long-sleeved shirts, a pre-match t-shirt and a track jacket , all in a limited edition. There are fourteen thousand fans in the stands for this match, over three hundred Nerazzurri fans who followed the team at San Nicola in Bari. The match between Galletti and Nerazzurri Ivano Pezzuto from the Lecce section is booed.
THE FIRST HALF. Before the kick-off, a minute of contemplation to remember Mattia Giani. The first shot on goal is for the Nerazzurri with D’Alessandro putting the ball high over the crossbar. Pisa starts better and is already ahead in the 3rd minute: Valoti catches Arena who hooks a great ball and serves it to the left for Barbieri, a low cross into the middle where Calabresi is there who just outside the area beats it with his left foot and puts it the ball under the crossbar: 1-0 for Pisa. Second goal of the season for the Nerazzurri defender after the one in Lecco. Bari reacts: Morachioli’s cross for Kallon who attempts the deflection in front of the port with the ball ending up at the bottom. Shortly afterwards Valoti goes down to the edge of the area but Pezzuto lets it go. Pisa continues to manage the match with good phrases. Bari seems to be in great difficulty. Di Cesare is the first yellow card of the match after a foul on Valoti and scolds his midfield after yet another inattention. Dorval wins a free kick in the Nerazzurri’s three-quarters which however is unsuccessful. At the half hour mark for Bari, the former Nerazzurri player Sibilli tries with his left foot to challenge Nicolas in two stages who he blocks to the ground. Pisa comes close to making it 2-0 in the 38th minute with Moreo who forces Brenno to deflect for a corner from the ground. In the 41st minute there was a danger for the Nerazzurri goal brought by Puscas, but his right-footed shot from sixteen meters ended high over the crossbar. Just before the break Maita also tries and after a disengagement error by Nicolas he shoots a few meters from the right post of Nicolas’ goal. After a minute of added time at the San Nicola, we went to half-time with the Nerazzurri ahead thanks to the goal scored by Calabresi in the 3rd minute.
THE SECOND HALF. No news at the start of the second half for the two teams. Bari starts with their foot on the accelerator in search of an equalizer. Bari was very close to scoring in the 51st minute: personal action by Kallon on the left with the ball in the middle for Sibilli who struck from a few steps away but found the rebound with the left hand of a great Nicolas. It remains 1-0 for Pisa. In the 58th minute Pezzuto awarded the penalty to Bari for a handball by Calabresi. The Lecce referee after a check at the VAR confirms his decision. Puscas displaces Nicolas from the spot: 1-1. The ex’s goal for Puscas at the dawn of the quarter of an hour which re-establishes parity. Muscle problem for Hermasson who is forced to give way to Canestrelli. Aquilani redesigns Pisa. Matteo Tramoni takes Arena’s place, Veloso takes over from Esteves. In Bari inside Aramu for Morachioli. Shortly afterwards in Bari the two forwards Puscas and Kallon were out, Nasti and Achik were in. In Pisa outside Valoti and inside Idrissa Tourè. Less than 15 minutes to go. Pisa regroups and immediately becomes dangerous with Matteo Tramoni who steals the ball and puts it in the middle but Bari saves themselves in a corner. Veloso from the flag but the Nerazzurri don’t take advantage of the situation properly. Newcomer Tourè also tries a diagonal shot with the ball deflected into a corner. Bari responds with a good move by Sibilli who wins a corner. In the 85th minute Barbieri wins a nice free kick on the left. Exciting ending. Free kick by Veloso passes by Brenno but no Nerazzurri with the goal unguarded manages to deflect it towards goal and the Bari defense sweeps. On a restart Bari comes close to scoring with Nasti with Nicolas touching and Caracciolo saving on the line and putting it in the corner. Giampaolo plays the Bellomo card who replaces Maita in the 88th minute. There are six minutes of added time assigned by Pezzuto. Second yellow card for Bari with Ricci.
