The case of the cancellation of monologue by the writer Antonio Scuratia speech that should have been broadcast tonight in a Rai program, arrives also in Florence. With the mayor Dario Nardella who says he is ready to protest publicly in the way proposed by his colleague Giorgio Gori. The mayor of Bergamo, in fact, he asked all administrators to read that same speech from the stage of the celebrations of Liberation Day on April 25th.
Serena Bortone’s complaint
The presenter of the program started the case by reporting the incident What will be, Serena Bortone. In a post on Instagram she herself vented her feelings by explaining that she learned “with dismay, and by pure chance, that Scurati’s contract had been canceled without plausible explanations”. Rai’s response: «No censorship» but «editorial reasons»
«No censorship.
