Todi in Fiera, Slow Food and FieraMente over the weekend « ilTamTam.it the online newspaper of Umbria

Weekend dedicated to fairs and markets in Todi, where three different initiatives with different “focus” are scheduled between Saturday and Sunday.
It starts on Saturday 20 April with the return of FieraMente, the exhibition-market of small crafts and vintage based in the Oberdan Public Gardens. The novelty, compared to previous years, is the anticipation of the taking place on Saturday (instead of Sunday) and its duration also extended to the evening hours.
About forty exhibitors have been announced, trusting as always in good weather. FieraMente is scheduled every third Saturday of the month throughout the spring-summer up to and including October.

On Sundays, at the municipal arcades, it also returns the Slow Food land market, with twelve producers of honey, legumes, oil, cheeses, legumes, pasta, vegetables, eggs, cured meats, jams, flours and fresh biscuits.
Even in the case of the Slow Food initiative, scheduled for the third Sunday of each month, the expected duration is for the whole day, from 10am to 6pm, with the possibility of comparing, tasting and purchasing at fair prices directly from the source.

Third appointment, this time on an annual basis, the one with “Todi in Fiera”, a sort of San Martino fair in spring version with stalls of all types of goods located along the avenue that goes from the Tempio della Consolazione to the beginning of Via Ciuffelli, entrance to the historic center of the city.
